COOKED BOOKS are the last survivors of the Bloomington, IN doomsday-cult "Disciples of the Prophet Electric", after they accidentally sleept-in and missed the ascension ritual. Since then, the four members violently proselytize to crowds in basements and bars in an attempt to achieve the transhuman state they were denied.
